On May 9, 2010 about 3:48 AM Deputies responded to a report that an individual had poured gasoline on and about a residence located at 168 Williams Street in Spartanburg County.
Further investigation determined that Roderick Dean Hughes was the person believed to be responsible for this incident.
Mr. Hughes was located, arrested and charged with one count each of Burglary 1st degree and Willful / Malicious Attempt to Burn a Dwelling.
Mr. Hughes is currently in the Spartanburg County Detention Center where there has been no bond set.
