WANTED in Berkeley County – Russellville Shooting

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one man dead, early Wednesday morning in the Russellville area of the county.

Deputies responded to a call at 2:40 AM concerning a person being shot at a residence at Gladiola Way. EMS transported the victim, 23 year old Chad Williams, to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Berkeley County Sheriff’s deputies were at the location all Wednesday morning and a good portion of the afternoon processing the scene, interviewing residents and others who may have had knowledge of the shooting.
