UPDATE: Neighbors Find Blind Man Missing In Moore

About 12:30 PM today, neighbors, who were searching in the woods at the end of the cul-de-sac where the K-9 track of Mr. Hayes ended overnight, found Mr. Michael Hayes. Mr. Hayes told his rescuers that he had wandered into the woods at the end of the cul-de-sac and became disoriented. Since he was visiting relatives on Eagles Lane, he was not familiar with the area and once he found himself in the woods, he became confused on the direction he needed to take to return back home. During the night he said he fell into a creek and then came across an above ground sewer line where he decided to sit down and wait to be found. Mr. Hayes was checked out on scene by EMS personnel and was found to be in very good condition. Mr. Hayes should not need any additional medical attention.
