SPARTANBURG COUNTY OFFICERS SEARCHING FOR ROBBERY/SHOOTING SUSPECT

Deputies responded to the Circle K on East Blackstock Road in Spartanburg.

Investigators say a man came into the store just after 2 a.m. Monday and demanded money.

Authorities say the clerk gave the man the money and that’s when the suspect shot the clerk twice and then ran away.

Deputies do not have any suspects in the case. They are looking at store surveillance video.

The store clerk was taken to the hospital. His condition is not known.
