Public Assistance Requested in Identifying Armed Robbers

On Monday, October 22, 2012 at approximately 6:00 am an employee of the SPINX located at 3815 White Horse Road was in the process of collecting funds from the gasoline pumps in front of the store when two black males wearing dark clothing, masks and armed with handguns speed up to the employee in a gray PT Cruiser.  The suspects exit the vehicle and physically assault the employee to obtain the money taken from the pumps.  The suspects fled the incident location.  The employee required medical attention for injuries sustained as the result of the assault.  It is unknown what specific injuries the victim sustained, however, the injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.  The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects in this case.  Anyone with information is encouraged to contact our office at 864.271.5210 or Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
