Henderson County Sheriff's Office Launches "Smart 911"

Smart 9-1-1 is a free service that expands and strengthens our current 9-1-1 service by providing us with critical information about callers. This feature will provide enhanced information to 9-1-1 call takers as well as first responders before they arrive on the scene. The users enter information on-line that is delivered automatically to 911 call takers when a 911 call is placed. This important emergency information about you or your family can include things such as home addresses of mobile phone callers, family medical conditions, children’s photographs, disabilities or other rescue related information.

The emergency information that you provide is maintained in a 100 % secure facility and is only available to 911 call takers when they receive a 911 call.

Sheriff Rick Davis states “By entering critical information online before an emergency, you can ensure that first responders are better prepared to respond when you call 9-1-1. Help Henderson County, help you. Register today.”
