Henderson County Mock Vehicle Crash Scene Information

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Traffic Team will be staging mock vehicle crash scenes at each of the Henderson County Senior High Schools during prom weeks in the month of May.

Sheriff Rick Davis states “These mock scenes will be constructed in an effort to educate our teens about the dangers of drinking and driving as well as texting and driving. Since the inception of this program there have been teen motor vehicle related deaths during our prom weeks”.

In addition to the mock scenes, there will be static equipment displays provided by the Henderson County Bomb Squad, the Henderson County SWAT Team, and the Henderson County Motorcycle Traffic Team.

The displays will take place at the following locations and times:

• North Henderson High School on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM.
• West Henderson High School on Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 9:30 AM until 1:30 PM.
• East Henderson high School on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM.
