Greenville Man Sought By Sheriffs Office
Deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is currently
seeking the whereabouts of Wilbert Monroe Todd, black male, 33 years of
age, possibly driving a black Honda 4-door vehicle with tinted windows.
Todd is wanted in the connection of an Armed Robbery and Attempted
Murder. Deputies responded to 22 Dempsey Street this morning (September
26th) around 8:30 a.m. to discover a man had suffered a single gunshot
wound to the abdomen area. Deputies were told that during an argument
while playing cards, Todd pointed a weapon at the victim, took money and
personal items, and then shot him once. Warrants were issued for Todd
for Attempted Murder and Armed Robbery. The victim in this case was
transported to the Greenville Memorial Hospital where he was listed in
stable condition.
On September 10th, Investigators had previously signed warrants for
Todd’s arrest and was actively looking him for Attempted Murder, Armed
Robbery, and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Offense. This
offense involved Todd shooting a victim in the right arm while
conducting a transaction with the victim who was selling Todd some dogs.
The victim stated that while they were discussing the sale, Todd pulled
out a firearm, demanded money and shot him in his arm. This offense
occurred at a location on 10th St in the Judson Community.
Todd is considered armed and dangerous.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information
that leads to the arrest of Wilbert Monroe Todd to please call the
Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME; you do not have to give
your name.
