Deputies Respond to Boiling Springs Shooting

Around 11:43 PM yesterday evening, Deputies responded to a report of a shooting at a residence on Cottage Mill Run in the Boiling Springs Community. Upon arrival, Deputies found a male who was deceased. Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office Violent Crime Task Force, Forensic Investigators, and Investigators from the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office are on scene interviewing parties involved in this incident and gathering evidence as they work to determine the sequence of events that lead to the fatality. The investigation is in it’s very early stages and Investigators should be on scene for several more hours. The name of the deceased is not available for release at this time.
