  1. I’ve known Fred most of my life (going on 20 years now)… and I can say this is NOT like him at all. No prior offenses, not a violent guy. I will say the last few years we were in contact leading up to this incident he was beginning to act quite strange- paranoid, elusive, reclusive, etc. I don’t support what he did at all, but those crazy-zealot church people (he was affiliated with) will push the already mentally unstable over the edge and I believe that is exactly what happened with my friend. I am speaking from first hand experience- I attended and even volunteered/worked at the sister church up here in Maryland, Christ Revealed Miracle Tabernacle. Krazy ass hypocrites with a “K”! I am praying to the true God for my friend Fred. Please, show him grace, at his core, he is a good man.

  2. I met Fred in high school in 1994 and we became good friends. I remember Fred as being one of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve met. He had a way of connecting with everyone, people from all walks of life, while managing to be the same, authentic person. The last time we spoke he was searching for himself and was excited about an opportunity to serve in a ministry – and was moving down South to do so. I don’t know what happened since then, but I wish we had stayed in touch. Nate, we never met but I remember he always spoke highly of you.
