Update on Montclair Road Homocide

Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have obtained arrest warrants for Walker Manning Hughes in connection to the death of Karen Hughes. One arrest warrant for the offense of Murder and one arrest warrant for the offense of Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime have been issued for Walker Manning Hughes, the son of the
victim Karen Hughes.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s have placed a detainment hold on Hughes pending his bond hearing in Laurens County. After Hughes is arraigned in Laurens County and notifies Greenville of a possible release, GCSO deputies will go to Laurens County and pick Hughes up and bring him to the Greenville County Detention Center where he will be served with the warrants and await a bond hearing.
