Spartanburg Sheriff makes Arrest in Shooting Investigation

About 9:10 AM this morning Investigators with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crime Unit working with the assistance of Deputies from the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, Newberry County Sheriff’s Office, Officers from the Fountain Inn Police Department, Agents from the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and Deputy US Marshals from the US Marshals Service located and took into custody James Cullen and Jerod Harris who were wanted in connection with the shooting of a 17 year old on Friday, December 17, 2010. Both suspects were found inside a mobile home in Fountain Inn, SC and were arrested without incident. Mr. Cullen and Mr. Harris have been transported to the Spartanburg County Detention Center where Investigators will request a formal bond hearing. The bond hearing time and date will be set by the court.
