SHOOTING AT 'DOLLAR BILL'S' ON WHITE HORSE ROAD

At approximately 4:15 am on Saturday, a shooting occurred in the “Dollar Bill’s” parking lot located on White Horse Road, Greenville. According to incident reports a black male fired a handgun while standing in the parking lot of the local bar. One victim, who was also standing in the parking lot at the time of the shooting, received minor injuries from being shot. A second victim, who was not injured, was sitting inside a vehicle when the vehicle was fired upon. The suspect fled the scene but was later located by Greenville County Sheriff’s Office uniform patrol deputies at within an apartment located at Shemwood Crossing Apartments. 25-year old, Joshua Pernell Jackson of Greenville was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Attempted Murder, 1 count of Discharging a Firearm into a Vehicle, Unlawful Carry of a Handgun and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime. Jackson is currently being held at the Greenville County Detention Center on no bond.
