Greenville County Responds to Armed Robbery
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office received an alarm call from the Carolina First Bank this evening, December 21st, at approximately 4:35 pm. While deputies were responding an eyewitness called and stated that the bank at 1216 Woodruff Road had been robbed and he was attempting to follow the suspect vehicle. Moments after several deputies arrived on the scene, the Sheriff’s Office received a call from Mauldin Police advising that a security guard at Verizon spotted one of the suspects at the bank at which time deputies responded and were able to apprehend the suspect without incident.
