Double Homicide in Buncombe County

On Sunday August 7 at 0600 hrs the Buncombe EOC received a 911 call from 1 Border Street
in Black Mountain NC. The call was in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon the arrival of
responding officers it was discovered that three people had been stabbed. Two people had been
fatally wounded and a third was transported to the hospital for treatment. At this time it is not
known what the condition of the third victim is. Buncombe County sheriffs detectives are currently investigating the incident and are interviewing all persons on the scene. This was believed to be an isolated incident and detectives believe that all of the parties involved have been located.

Rebecca Jean Ogle, W/F 29 yoa, and Jonathan David Craig, W/M 27 yoa, both died as a result of their wounds at the scene. James Robert Graves, W/M 16 yoa, was injured during the domestic dispute.
